Mercedes Benz Color Code 158 G – White Grey was used on Mercedes cars from 1951 through 1972. A prolific color, it appeared fairly commonly on almost every model produced during its run. The color is also referred to as Weiss Grau (German for white grey) in the United States.

picked up a 1952 Adenauer Cabriolet in need of complete restoration, it has a red leather interior , the top is gone but scraps show it had an off white head liner, the exterior of the top appears to have been gray but there is not enough left to be sure. there are some remnants of a manilla yellow color in the door jambs but the large amount of overspray shows this was a poor repaint . the previous owner had sandblasted the exterior and primed black. is there a list of colors that were available for the first year of this 300D Adenauer Cabriolet? I want make sure im accurate.
